Privacy Policy

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider.
• Content you create. Matches, events, team and player names, jersey numbers, scores and statistics, and any live-stream links (YouTube/Twitch) you add. You control this content; if you enter other people’s names you are responsible for doing so appropriately.
• Authentication & technical data. Session tokens are stored on your device to keep you signed in. Our backend processes standard request data (e.g., IP address) to operate and secure the service.
• On-device settings. Preferences like theme and which sports you’ve hidden are stored locally on your device.

We do not collect payment information, precise location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers. We do not show ads. [We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. — remove this sentence if that changes.]

• To provide the service: create and manage matches, keep score, and sync your data across devices.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To display live scores to spectators you share a match or event link with.
• To maintain, debug, and improve the app, and to comply with legal obligations.

• Service providers. We host data and run authentication on Supabase (database, auth, and realtime), which processes it on our behalf. Data is stored in the United States.
• Sign-in providers. If you use Google or Facebook sign-in, your interaction with them is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Embedded video. If a match has a YouTube or Twitch stream, the video is embedded from those services; when you watch, they may set cookies and collect data under their own policies.
• Public links. Anyone with a match or event share link can view that match’s scores and the names/numbers shown on it, without an account.
• Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• We do not sell your personal information.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app (Account menu → Delete account), which deletes your account and the matches, events, and courts you created. To request deletion another way, email gamepointlivesupport@gmail.com.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to the database is restricted by row-level security policies so users can only read and write what they’re permitted to. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Game Point is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your information is processed and stored in the United States. By using the app you consent to this transfer.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
